The Japanese client operates a company related to aerospace products. They needed a complete set of speed gates integrated with face recognition attendance and access control systems for the main passages of their office building. Basic integration of face recognition and access control was straightforward for us — we offer numerous standard speed gate models to choose from.
The real challenge lay in two key customized requirements. First, space constraints at the client’s office were severe. Standard speed gates typically range from 1200mm to 1800mm in length. The client required the length to be compressed to less than 800mm, a significant reduction that tested structural design limits.
Our design team quickly developed a targeted solution to meet both demands. For the size constraint, we optimized the internal structure of the speed gate. We streamlined the core components, including the movement and control module, without compromising performance. The final design achieved a length of 750mm, well below the client’s 800mm limit.
For the starry sky design, we adopted a black baking paint finish paired with a gold sprinkling process and breathing lights. The combination created a realistic starry sky effect. When the custom starry sky speed gate is powered on, the breathing lights flicker softly, matching the gold spots on the black surface. It resembles a twinkling night sky, perfectly echoing the client's aerospace theme.
The face recognition attendance and access control system was seamlessly integrated into the compact design. The system features fast recognition speed — within 0.3 seconds — and supports real-time attendance data recording, solving both access control and attendance management needs for the client
We submitted the complete customization plan to the Japanese client. They were highly satisfied with the thoughtful design, which perfectly met their space and aesthetic requirements. We then proceeded to make samples for testing. The samples passed all performance and appearance tests, meeting the client’s expectations in every aspect.
