Outdoor-type (IP54+): Rain/dust-proof, anti-mechanical impact. For outdoor scenes (residential gates, outdoor stadiums). Generally use full stainless steel or carbon steel painted for whole frame of the tripod turnstile.
Single-directional : Allow passage in one fixed direction (entry-only or exit-only) via mechanical limits and sensor to limit.

Bi-directional : Support two-way passage(entry-exit) with adjustable direction via access control systems(like swiping card or face recognition entry, press button exit).

Structure of Tripod Turnstile
The core structure consists of three main parts: the main cabinet, the tripod mechanism, and the control system.
The main cabinet, as the "body" of the tripod turnstile, is made of high-quality stainless steel ensure a smooth surface and strong load-bearing capacity. Inside the cabinet, electrical components are neatly connected by wires in independent wiring ducts, it's good for daily inspection and maintenance, at the same time, it will reduce the risk of short circuits caused by wire tangling.

The tripod mechanism, as the "heart" of the tripod turnstile, is the core functional part of tripod turnstile, it's consisting of machine core, arm plate with three rotating arms. The machine core is equipped with bearing to ensure smooth and noiseless operation during rotation. The solenoid controls the rotation of the tripod arms: when no valid access permission is obtained, the arms are locked and cannot be rotated manually; upon successful verification, the lock is released, allowing pedestrians to push the arms to pass through, and the arms automatically reset to the locked state after passage. This design ensures only one person can pass at a time, effectively preventing tailgating.

The control system, as the "brain" of the tripod turnstile, integrates a main control board and power supply module. The main control board processes access verification signals in real time, controls the locking and unlocking of the tripod mechanism, and records access data. The power supply module provides stable voltage for each component, with over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection functions to ensure the safe operation of the device.
