Types of full height turnstile
Full height turnstiles can be classified into multiple professional categories based on different principles. The main classifications are as follows:
Semi-automatic: It's equipped with electromagnetic mechanism machine core, rely on human pushing to rotate the barrier; auto-reset to locked position via internal spring and electromagnetic mechanism after passage. No continuous power supply for barrier rotation, energy-saving. Suitable for medium-security, medium-traffic areas (factory workshops, industrial parks).

Fully automatic: Equipped with motor drive system, auto-rotates barrier to allow passage after receiving valid access signals (card swiping, fingerprint verification etc). No need manual pushing, it operates more smoothly and efficiently. Requires continuous power supply, so it's suitable for high-traffic, high-security scenes (prisons, large logistics parks, key government departments).
Stainless Steel (304/316): Corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and durable. Suitable for indoor/outdoor scenarios (especially humid/harsh environments like coastal industrial zones).

Carbon Steel Painted: Cost-effective with anti-rust painted treatment. Mainly used in indoor dry environments with general security requirements (ordinary factory indoor warehouses).

Acrylic+Stainless steel or Carbon Steel Painted: Stainless steel for main structure and acrylic plate for fence and arms. It's used in indoor dry and high aesthetic requirements environments with general security requirements(office building lobby, hotel lobby gates)
Single-channel: Independent single passage design, small structure needs small floor space. Suitable for narrow entrances or low-traffic areas (small factory gates, single-entry office buildings).

Multi-channel: Integrated multi-passage structure (2-4 channels common), high space utilization. Designed for high-traffic scenarios, applicable to large-scale venues (stadiums, large industrial zones, transportation hubs).
Vertical-bar: Barrier composed of vertical stainless steel bars; strong anti-climbing and anti-tailgating performance. Widely used in high-security industrial and logistics areas.

Wing-type: Barrier in wing plate structure(stainless steel or acrylic plates etc), better passage comfort while maintaining high security. Suitable for semi-public high-security places (high-end communities, research institutes).
Indoor-type: Dust-proof only, waterproof level is not high. Suitable for indoor high-security areas (data centers, indoor warehouses of key enterprises).

Outdoor-type (IP54+/IP65): Rainproof, dust-proof and anti-corrosion; adaptable to harsh outdoor environments. Applicable to outdoor key access points (border checkpoints, outdoor factory perimeters, scenic area security gates).
Single-directional: Dust-proof only, Allow passage in one fixed direction (entry-only or exit-only) via mechanical limits. Suitable for one-way traffic scenarios (factory employee entry channels, subway/train station exit-only gates).

Bi-directional: Support two-way passage(entry-exit) with adjustable direction via access control systems(like swiping card or face recognition entry, press button exit). Applicable to general high-security areas needing entry-exit management (industrial park main gates, community security entrances).

Three-arms rotating 120 degrees full height turnstiles with a rotor only have three rows of arms, and the rotating angles is 120 degrees for one time. It has more space for the pedestrian who takes luggage etc.
