A customized speed gate project for client from Dubai

Idea and requirements from client: The client required a stylish, high-end, luxurious and distinctive turnstile that incorporates certain Middle Eastern architectural features, to be primarily installed in high-end office premises and exclusive clubs.

Our design procession: 

Given the product's intended use in premium venues, we selected the speed gate as our base model first and foremost. This choice was justified by its sleek, customizable appearance, fast and ultra-quiet operation, as well as its exceptionally low failure rate.

To meet the client's aesthetic requirements of integrating Middle Eastern design elements, we drew inspiration from the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai—a landmark building of the region. We thus designed a speed gate with a silhouette reminiscent of the Burj Al Arab, paired with a blue-and-white color scheme. White symbolizes the desert, while blue represents the sea.

To enrich the overall design of the speed gate, we added backlight to the blue stripes, which also function as indicator lights: blue signifies normal operation, green indicates passage is permitted, and red denotes access is forbidden.

For an extra touch of luxury, the cover is crafted from marble, endowing the turnstile with a sense of opulence and refined texture.

Upon reviewing and confirming the design drawings, the client expressed great satisfaction. We then proceeded with mass production of the speed gate according to the finalized design.

As a standard practice to protect client interests, custom-designed models are kept confidential and reserved exclusively for the client. However, with the client's approval, we have now introduced this unique model as our proprietary offering and made it available for sale in the global market.
