Light Customization Case for a German Client
Before the client customized this full height turnstile gate, they had been purchasing our standard BLS-FH53 Full-Height Turnstile Gate for a long time.
One day, they commented that the standard BLS-FH53 Full-Height Turnstile, which is fully constructed from stainless steel, lacked modern aesthetics and a warm, inviting feel, they need to install it for some modern, fashion sites, so they hope we can make some light customization on BLS-FH53 full height turnstile. They proposed a customization idea: to make the turnstile sleeker, more transparent and visually appealing while retaining its structural stability and sturdiness.
In response to the client's requirements, we suggested replacing the stainless steel side guardrail with transparent acrylic panels. Upon the client's approval, our design team drafted 3D drawings for their confirmation, which were well-received.
However, during the prototyping phase, we encountered a challenge: the side guardrail of the BLS-FH53 full-height turnstile are curved, and we had never produced such large curved acrylic components before. To resolve this issue, our design team collaborated closely with the acrylic manufacturing team. They adjusted the processing angles repeatedly, first fabricating a custom fixture tailored to the turnstile's curvature, then heating and molding the acrylic panels in the fixture multiple times. Eventually, we successfully produced acrylic panels that perfectly matched the turnstile's arc.
After the sample was manufactured and delivered to the client, they expressed great satisfaction. With their consent, we launched this customized turnstile model onto the market. To date, this full-height turnstile has gained wide recognition from clients across various countries.
